Turn the lights on!

I'm hoping this will be my last post on this Bishop Eddie Long fuckry...

This video has me emotionally confused. I don't think I've ever witnessed denial and naivety on this level before. I didn't expect them to come on TV and blast the leader of their flock, but neither did I expect them to sit there like a deer in headlights when the (circumstantial) evidence of their prophet's proclivities was revealed.

I didn't once see a light bulb go off in their brains to say "You know what? This summ bullshit! Chirrun, New Birth aint the place for us!"

Even after Don Lemon's powerful and shocking revelation (breaking his journalistic ethics) these thick skulls were still unmoved.

All I saw were vapid sheeple, longingly clinging to the fantasy of an incorruptible, messianic apostle.

I really hope they did some serious reflection after the show aired.

I was longing for some balanced, critical thinking to emerge from the black evangelical movement; especially since they believe CNN has an agenda to castigate and demonize them.

I was so pleased to find the following clip:

This renewed my faith in persons of the christian persuasion and is helping me to see this scandal in a positive light. The church needs to be purged of evil and hypocrisy and as the gentleman in the clip said "the universe is setting itself right".

Then came this footage of one of Long's alleged victims speaking out.

I believe him.
